Short Biography

Betül Avcı is an associate professor of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Ibn Haldun University. Avcı holds a B.A. from Istanbul University, M.A. degrees from Marmara University and the University of Chicago, and S.T.L. (M.Div.) and S.T.D. (Th.D.) degrees from the Pontificia Università Gregoriana. Her areas of research include Cultural Studies, Cultural translation, Religion and Literature, Interreligious Studies, Muslim-Christian Relations, Comparative Histories, Patristic Literature, Sufi Literature.
