In 1990, he graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Law. In 1991, he completed his legal internship at the Ankara Bar Association and obtained his attorney's license. In 1993, he completed his master's degree at Marmara University. He completed his doctorate in public law at Marmara University in 2001 and became a doctor of public law. In the same period, he completed his doctorate in political science at Ankara University in 2002 and received the title of doctor of political science. He has held academic and administrative positions in various institutions and universities, including YÖK. Macit Kenanoğlu, who became an associate professor in 2006 and a professor in 2011.
