She completed her undergraduate studies in Child Development at the University of Health Sciences and in English Language Teaching (ELT) at Marmara University. She completed her master’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) at Middle East Technical University (METU) and her PhD in the Department of Early Childhood Education at Marmara University. Her research focuses on foreign language education in early childhood, multilingualism, and bilingual language development in early years. She is a certified Emotion-Coaching Trainer and a Philosophy for Children (P4C) Education Specialist. She is currently an Assistant Professor in at Ibn Haldun University. She is also the mother of two daughters.
