Prof. Dr. Ünal Çakıroğlu was born in Trabzon, where he also completed his primary and secondary education. He received his bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Ege University in 1997. He earned his master's degree in the field of natural language processing at Karadeniz Technical University and completed his PhD on the use of learning objects in mathematics education. He began his academic career in 1999 as a research assistant in the Computer Engineering Department at Karadeniz Technical University and currently serves as a professor in the Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technology at Trabzon University. Dr. Çakıroğlu conducts research on technology integration in education, computer science education, distance education, and artificial intelligence applications in education. He has published numerous international articles and supervised many theses in these fields. In recent years, his work has focused on the integration of artificial intelligence in higher education. He is married with two children and speaks English.
