Short Biography
Dr. Derya Evran completed her undergraduate studies in the Department of Primary Education at Hacettepe University. Continuing her academic career, she pursued her master's degree in Research and Evaluation Methods at the University of Florida, and in Educational Statistics and Measurement at Rutgers University. Dr. Evran completed her PhD studies at the University College London, Institute of Education in Quantitative Social Science area focusing on the estimation of cognitive abilities of students.
Currently holds a part-time academic position at Ibn Haldun University in the Department of Psychological Counseling and Guidance. Her research encompasses various areas; including the cognitive abilities of students, cognitive diagnosis modeling, large-scale international assessments, measurement and evaluation in early childhood, and the academic readiness of children.
