Dilara Yıldırım completed her undergraduate education in the Guidance and Psychological Counseling program at Ibn Haldun University and also completed a minor in Psychology at the same university. During her undergraduate studies, she worked at the Coordinatorship of Innovative Learning and Teaching-Artificial Intelligence, where she contributed to projects focusing on self-regulation skills, active learning, the integration of digital technologies into teaching processes, and student support programs. Between 2024 and 2025, she served as a researcher at the same coordinatorship, further developing her research interests in educational technologies and learning processes. Since 2025, she has been working as a research assistant at the School of Educational Sciences at Ibn Haldun University. She is also pursuing her master’s degree in Guidance and Psychological Counseling at Ibn Haldun University.

Her academic interests include artificial intelligence applications in psychological counseling, AI-supported educational technologies, technology integration in teaching and learning processes, out-of-school learning environments, nature-based psychology, and character and values education. She has co-authored two book chapters published in nationally edited volumes in these fields. Her current research focuses on the opportunities and challenges associated with the use of AI-based tools in psychological counseling.
