Short Biography
In 2020, she obtained a joint Ph.D. in religious studies from the Université de Montréal and the École Pratique des Hautes études-Paris Sciences et Lettres.
Following her postgraduate studies in France and Germany, she conducted a number of religious anthropology surveys in Syria and Lebanon, publishing two books: Les secrets d'Alep in 2006 and La soie et l'Orient in 2011.
Her doctoral research (Louis Massignon et la mystique musulmane), published by Brill in 2023, focused on the epistemology of Islamic studies and the importance of subjectivity in the sciences of religion.
His current work focuses on the study of the vision of the natural world in classical Sufism and the analysis of different philosophical perspectives on environmental ethics.
