Dr. Hasan Vergil: Expert in Microeconomics

Dr. Hasan Vergil currently serves as an economics professor at Ibn Haldun University with more than 20 years of economics teaching and research experience. He completed his undergraduate education at Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Economics (1988-1992), and his master's degree (1994-1995) and PhD (1996-2000) at American University in the USA. In his doctoral thesis, which he completed under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Robert Blecker, he examined the effects of capital movement controls on private investments.

Academic Interests and Research Areas:

Dr. Vergil's academic work focuses on inequality, poverty and agent-based modelling, along with microeconomics.

Teaching Expertise:

Prof. Dr. Vergil primarily teaches Microeconomics and Economic Growth and Development at all levels of education.

Academic Publications and Contributions:

Dr. Vergil published articles and books in different fields of economics and worked in projects as a director and researcher.
