Short Biography

I graduated in 2018 from Boğaziçi University, Psychology department. Then, I pursued an MA degree at Boğaziçi University in the Cognitive Science program, graduating in 2022. I wrote a thesis under the supervision of Prof. Esra Mungan on the relation between language and rhythm. The title of my thesis is “In Search of a Syntactic Relationship Between Rhythm and Language”. Now, I pursue a PhD degree in Philosophy at 29 Mayıs University. I try to form a strong philosophical and theoreetical background to do a better research in the field of Psychology. My main interests include philosophy of mind, mental causation, philosophy of science, time perception, rhythm perception, and syntax processing.
