Nagehan Pakdamar Tüzgen received her Ph.D. in 2025 from the Doctoral Program in Educational Sciences at Boğaziçi University with her dissertation titled "The Role of Adult Education in Refugee Communities: Experiences of Syrian Refugee Women." She completed her undergraduate studies at Boğaziçi University with honors, earning a double major in Preschool Education and Guidance and Psychological Counseling, during which she carried out internships and observation studies at distinguished educational institutions in Istanbul. She also took an active role in various social responsibility projects and non-governmental organizations promoting equal opportunity in education. She completed her master's degree in the Guidance and Psychological Counseling Program at Boğaziçi University with her thesis titled "Psychological Needs During Pregnancy: A Qualitative Analysis of Introspection in New Mothers," and subsequently completed the Non-Thesis Master's Program in Educational Institution Management at Ibn Haldun University. She furthered her academic work through language education at the University of California, Berkeley.

Since 2017, she has been continuing her academic career at the Faculty of Educational Sciences at Ibn Haldun University, teaching various courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. She currently serves as Vice Dean and Deputy Head of Department at the Faculty of Educational Sciences. Since December 2025, she has been serving as the Director of the Guidance and Psychological Counseling Application and Research Center (REDAM) at Ibn Haldun University. She served as the founding advisor of the Ibn Haldun University Social Responsibility Club and continues to act as its advisor. She also provides academic consultancy for various projects. Her academic interests include adult education, multicultural education, migrant education, women's studies, family studies, and social justice in education. She is married and a mother of three children.
