Short Biography
Navid Chizari is an Assistant Professor at Ibn Haldun University in Turkey specialized in Islamic Theology (kalām) and lecturer at the IKAN Sultanahmet Madrasa program. He conducted research as a Research Assistant at the University of Münster, Germany (August 2020 - June 2023), developed and taught Arabic to KS5 students at Kuzey Almanya İslam Toplumu (2013-2016), and was a an Arabic tutor at the University of Osnabrück, Germany (2013-2014).
His academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Islamic Studies from the Ibn Haldun University (2018-2023), a Masters degree in Arabic/Islamic Studies from the University of Münster (2015-2018) with a year abroad at the UTM University Malaysia, a Bachelor degree in Islamic Theology from the University of Osnabrück (2012-2015), and classical training in the Islamic Sciences from IKAN (2018-2023).
Notably, he received the Ibn Haldun Scholarship (2018-2022) and the Avicenna Scholarship (2014-2017).
