Rumeysa Oğuz graduated from the Department of English Language and Literature at Istanbul University. In 2022, she completed her master’s degree at the same university with a thesis entitled "Crossing Borders in Contemporary English Fiction: Cross-Cultural Influences in The Buddha of Suburbia and White Teeth." She is currently pursuing her doctoral studies in the Department of English Language and Literature at Istanbul University and serves as a research assistant in the Department of Comparative Literature at Ibn Haldun University.
