Short Biography

After completing undergraduate education in 2012 at Istanbul University, Department of Psychology, she obtained a master's degree from the School of Psychology at the University of Nottingham in 2014, and later earned a doctoral degree from the Faculty of Neuroscience, Psychology, and Behavior at the University of Leicester in 2018. Dr. Eruyar, who worked as a part-time researcher in numerous projects conducted at Greenwood Child Health Institute and the University of Leicester from 2015 to 2021, subsequently worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Experimental Psychology at the University of Oxford in 2023. Her research areas include identifying the mental health needs of children and adolescents, developing, implementing, and evaluating intervention programs, and organizing skill development training for professionals working in these areas. Since 2015, Dr. Eruyar has served as a co-researcher and expert consultant at the World Awareness for Children in Trauma (WACIT) association. She has been elected as an Honorary Member by the University of Leicester.
