Dr. Yurdunkulu completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Çankırı. He graduated from Nevzat Ayaz Anatolian Teachers High School with the 3rd grade.  

He completed his bachelor's degree in English Language Teaching at Istanbul University, his master's degree in Educational Administration and Supervision at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University, and his PhD in Educational Administration at Eskişehir Anadolu University.

In the PhD study, an organizational resilience scale was developed for the resilience of primary and secondary education public schools in Türkiye. 

His research interests include leadership, supervision, organizational resilience, and educational administration.

He worked at different positions such as teacher, and vice principal in the Ministry of National Education.

He loves people without reciprocity.
