Short Biography

Dr. Thseen Nazir earned his B.A. (Hons.) in Psychology in 2005 and completed his Masters in Clinical Psychology in 2008 at Aligarh Muslim University, India. His outstanding academic performance was recognized with a Gold Medal for his Bachelor's degree. In 2011, Dr. Thseen embarked on the prestigious Gandhi Fellowship, a highly esteemed youth program in India centered on Gandhian Philosophy, facilitated by the Kaivalya Education Foundation. During his two-year fellowship in Rajasthan, India, he dedicated his efforts to understanding the intricacies of the school system, closely examining and analyzing School Education. Subsequently, he sought to apply his psychological insights, focusing on children's well-being, leading to extensive research culminating in the completion of his Ph.D. from the Counselling and Guidance Department at Ankara University, Ankara, Turkey, in 2018. In recognition of his outstanding work, the Turkish Counseling and Guidance Association honored him as the Best Young Researcher of the Year in 2018.

His impactful contributions extend to authoring a comprehensive book, published in both Turkish and English in 2023, which delves into the challenges confronted by international students during the process of adaptation. Furthermore, his scholarly endeavors are reflected in the creation of an extensive body of work comprising numerous research papers and articles that contribute to and elevate the academic arena.
